In order for a used car to retain its VAT qualifying status it needs to have been operated by a third party from new. Cars used for short term lease agreements are ideal candidates for leasing a second time, the initial depreciation has been taken and as all Mercedes come with a three year warranty the balance of the manufacturer’s warranty will be valid for the majority of the new contract.
